Local Facilities and Shops
Shops
Portnellan is centrally located to reach many Scottish towns and cities with a good road network to travel on. There are many activities to see and do as well as great shopping at every level. However, in the immediate location of Portnellan there are a number of shops and mobile facilities to help with providing day to day groceries. I have listed a few below. Please note that Crianlarich Village Store, MacGregors and Gourlay Butchers work in partnership with Portnellan to provide order forms. This way you can order all your provisions in advance, delivered free of charge to your lodge or cottage on the day of your arrival. These order forms will be sent to you as part of your confirmation when booking.
Crianlarich Village Store
The village of Crianlarich which is less than 2 miles from Portnellan hosts a well stocked village store family owned by Isla and Bryan Craig. Here you will find all necessities of a well stocked village shop. They are open 7 days a week from 8am until 6pm (open times are reduced throughout the Winter)
